Top 10

OK...this top ten is the worst 10 movies I have ever seen, at the movie theater not at home. We all rent bad movies, but your out only a couple of bucks, but when you drive to a theater for a movie that looks good pay $8 then buy popcorn & pop (or supper at the Alamo) your spending over $15.00, then the movie was bad...that sucks! You just wasted 2 hours of your life and you lost money. So these flops will always be a bad memory.

1) Howard the Duck (1986) only movie I ever walked out of

2)Better Off Dead (1985) all the funny parts were in the commercial

3) Last of the Mohicans (1992) There was no story to it

4) Turner & Hootch (1989) actually paid to see this movie twice

5) Mirror has 2 Faces (1996) only B. Streisand movie I have seen

6) Mr. Baseball (1992) a MLB player gets traded to a Japanese team...come on

7) Superman III (1983) very stupid

8) Insomnia (2002) favorite actor is Robin Williams, but this movie was very boring

9) Kuffs (1992) stupid plot

10) Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) Dumb songs, dumb story line, dumb ending

Don and Dawn would like to invite everyone to our house for
Thanksgiving Day.

play a few games.

Great first 2 QT's

If football was only 2 Qt's long, it would have been a great weekend. Gophers were ahead 21 -7 at the half & the Vikings were ahead 13 - 6 at the half. The Gophers were outscoted 28-11 & the Vikings were outscored 13-0 (41-11 together) in the 2nd half. Then there was the little school Troy who played #19 LSU who was winning 31-3 in the 3rd Qt, and lost 40-31.

That Paul

Well, I thought it was kind of special when I won both the VIKING hat & Jersey, but I got a call Monday night from Paul, and he did the same thing. They weren't Viking stuff, but he can get it exchange. He won a hat 2 weeks ago. But he has been there 5 times, so that is $100 worth of raffle tickets.
CONGRATS to the Gopher hocker team...#2 in the country!

A NEW PRESIDENT

Well, for the good or bad of the country, we have a new president. I know not everyone is happy. I got this message from Denis Dahl on my phone..."The world as we know it is over...God help
us all."
All I can say is it can't get much worse than the last 8 years. I never did like George W Bush. I know Pam disagrees with me on this issue, we talked about it when I was in Minn, but I think Bush will go down as the worst President except for Nixon. But my friend Jason likes George W Bush, & thought he did a good job, but he also thinks OJ Simpson is not guilty.
This is probably the last time I talk politics on this page, because I really don't like talking politics, & everyone has a different opinion and not much good comes from talking politics.

7) TWISTER (1996)
8) SILVER STREAK (1976)
9) DANTE'S PEAK (1997)
