wow! what a difference a week makes. Last Saturday, the store did $664 in sales . Between 6:30 & 9:00 Becki & Dad did $240 in sales. This Saturday I did a whopping $179 in sales. I have no idea why the big difference. I figured I need to do an average of $450 on Sat to make a go of it. So hopefully this was just a one time thing.
This top 10 is my favorite movie soundtracks. I do like my oldies, so some of these have songs from the 50's & 60's.
This week's top 10 is my favorite FAKE music group from a movie. Some of them actually made records. I did not put The Blues Brothers on the list, because they started on tv (Sat. Night Live). The award for best name for a fake band is The Blood Farts from "The Bad News Bears " the remake.
First Lady Michelle Obama showed up Thursday as a surprise and welcome volunteer at Miriam's Kitchen, a soup kitchen for homeless poor people not far from the White House. Can’t afford to buy food, not when you have to pay for the new cell phone with camera. Maybe we can start a charity which donates unused minutes to the homeless and poor.
There is a Wed night poker game that I have been invited to for over a year, but because it cost $25, I never did it, because I would like to go back every week, & that cost $$$. So, if I get my store I won't be able to play there, so I decided I better do it now. So last week I got 12th out of 30 players...this week, I won the damn thing, out of 33 players. I won $350.00. It comes in very handy for all these licences I have to pay for.
