Top 10 Saturday
This top 10 is the top 10 space movies. I am not a real big fan of this kind of movie, so movies that are on critics best of list, many of those I don't like. (2001 A Space Odyssey, The Right Stuff (never seen) Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind) As you can see, I like comedies. 3 of these movies were also on the disaster movie list. #1 was the same on both lists.
- Armageddon (1998) great movie
- Spaceballs (1987) very funny movie
- Deep Impact (1998)
- Flight of the Navigator (1986) Kid movie but good
- Apollo 13 (1995)
- Galaxy Quest (1999) another funny movie
- Starship Troopers (1997) very underrated movie

Top 10 (20)
There was so many movies I liked in this category I decided to do a top 20 list. I won't do this often, because it takes up to much space. This list is the TOP 20 SCHOOL MOVIES of all time. If there was a school scene, it could be on the list. Entertainment Weekly did a top 50 list on the same subject. I put the # they were on there list behind the name. note: Dead Poet's Society (Dawn disliked this movie alot) was #20 on EW list, it did not make mine.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) #2
16 Candles (1984) #49
Dazed & Confused (1992) #3
Election (1999) #9
American Graffiti (1973) #6
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) #10
Grease (1978) #21
Taps (1981) NR
School Ties (1992) NR
Hoosiers (1986) #25
Back to the Future (1985) #28
Heathers (1989) #5
Toy Soldiers (1989) NR
Lean On Me (1989) NR
American Pie (1999) #22
The Faculty (1998) NR
Breakfast Club (1985) #1
My Bodyguard (1979) #45
Carrie (1976) #15
Emperor's Club (2002) NR
I can't believe 6 on my list did not make there list. The movies "Elephant" & "10 things I hate about you" almost made my list. For some reason, all my #'s disappeared. Sorry about that.

IT'S SNOWING!!
Did it snow at your house? I know it snowed in Oak Hill, & at Rockin Tomato (Lamar), And I think it snowed at my house. Snow was still on cars but not ground. At least we don't have to wake up early & shovel snow.
I keep forgetting to tell everyone...if you have your own top 10 list you want everyone to see, put it in the comment section or e-mail me the list, & I will put it on the blog.

Top Ten Christmas Style
Well, Christmas is right around the corner, so I am doing my top 10 list on my favorite Christmas movies (including tv). You won't find "It's A Wonderful Life" because I haven't seen the whole movie. I did not include any tv specials (Charlie Brown) because they are usually 1/2 hr long. I saw a list of Christmas movies, and "Trading Places" is on that list. I do not remember this being a Christmas film, so I left it off the list).
1) A Christmas Sory (1983)
2) Elf (2003)
3) Planes, Trains, & Automobiles (1987)
4) Die Hard (1988)
5) Home Alone (1990)
6) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
7) Christmas Every Day (1997) tv movie

Top 10
OK...this top ten is the worst 10 movies I have ever seen, at the movie theater not at home. We all rent bad movies, but your out only a couple of bucks, but when you drive to a theater for a movie that looks good pay $8 then buy popcorn & pop (or supper at the Alamo) your spending over $15.00, then the movie was bad...that sucks! You just wasted 2 hours of your life and you lost money. So these flops will always be a bad memory.
1) Howard the Duck (1986) only movie I ever walked out of
2)Better Off Dead (1985) all the funny parts were in the commercial
3) Last of the Mohicans (1992) There was no story to it
4) Turner & Hootch (1989) actually paid to see this movie twice
5) Mirror has 2 Faces (1996) only B. Streisand movie I have seen
6) Mr. Baseball (1992) a MLB player gets traded to a Japanese team...come on
7) Superman III (1983) very stupid
8) Insomnia (2002) favorite actor is Robin Williams, but this movie was very boring
9) Kuffs (1992) stupid plot
10) Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) Dumb songs, dumb story line, dumb ending
